Greg aka “Slicker The Kid” is passionate ..PASSIONATE …about Inner City Slickers and his music. He is actively involved in ICS as a Team Member and Wrangler. His enthusiasm and energy while working with the kids is a great asset to ICS. In addition to volunteering with ICS he is also a active volunteer for the National Kidney Foundation.
Greg started singing in church at the age of six and has had a life long passion to sing professionally someday. Gospel Music has been his path but at the age of fifteen he added Country Music to his journey. He entertains thru out Tennessee and surrounding States loving his craft and living his dream. Friends like Country Music Artist Con Hunley, Gospel Music Artist Shane Roark and Michael McMeel, former drummer for Three Dog Night & founder of ICS, have helped Greg along his path and kept him headed in the right direction.
Greg performs every chance he gets. He is a member of the Tennessee & Mississippi Country/Gospel Music Association, North America Country Music Association International & the Rob Hamill Variety Show. He performs at various events along with Gospel Artist Derrick Collins & Deeper Faith, Dave Saratt, Eternal Vision, Mike Southerland & The Gibson’s. He also performs at Christian Conferences hosted by A Heart Connection. In May 2011 he performed at a major Country Music Festival where he had the opportunity to meet and hang out with Craig Morgan, Bucky Covington, Rhett Akin, Matt Stillwell, Jimmie Van Zant, Artimus Pyle, Swamp De Wamp & The Kentucky Headhunters to name a few. In October 2011 he was one of the artist that opened for The Kentucky Headhunters at the Daniel Boone Festival in Kentucky.
Greg is employed at Bee Green Landscaping & Lawn Care and is working on building his own Small Engine Repair Business. In his spare time he also enjoys raising/showing his chickens, riding his horses, fishing, hunting, camping, bicycling and playing soccer. Oh and we can’t forget his 3 dogs and cat: Amazon, Spirit Wolf, Raptor and Stumpy.
